The riding dress coat was first tailored a decade ago when I worked for Gifford's Circus as Mime Magician & Costumier-Designer & needed a stylish-wow-factor-but-subtle coat to wear in the ring with secret pockets in the lining, originally inspired by a 1920s riding coat that I found in an antique shop. Wearing this coat again and again to art openings for over a decade, it has always done it for me, it has always made me instantly feel amazing... Out of a costume design collection of 40 pieces at the time, this was the one design that just resonated and had this one big great aura.  So with few alterations (like removing the secret pockets) the entire first collection was designed around this coat, a signature piece.  It's a design that hums: very beautiful, very special, and can be worn in so many circumstances for so many types of women, the perfect coat that lasts decades and it's a cliche i know but you do wonder how you ever did without...

A-MM-E is offering you bespoke designer orders here with high quality fabrics and tailoring for very affordable rates.  Allow just approximately 3 weeks for delivery depending on fabric choice. We will email you immediately upon receipt of payment to process your bespoke order and send swatches if required. Until then you can change your mind at any point and receve a full and immediate refund as some fabrics may not be available or some designs may take longer.  Once the fabric and delivery is confirmed by you the order commences as the item is made.
